Katelyn Ivey

Her career began during a challenging time—after a kidney transplant—which provided the catalyst to pursue her long-standing interest in real estate. This transition followed 15 years in the hospitality industry, where she worked as a sous chef and pastry chef in various restaurants, including a stint at Disney World. This extensive background instilled in her the ability to work well under pressure, be a great team player, stay organized, and be a skilled problem solver, all of which are essential in real estate. Meet Katelyn

A true Brunswick County local, Katelyn grew up in Oak Island and currently lives in Lockwood Folly in Supply. This lifelong connection to the area provides her with deep, firsthand knowledge of her primary service areas: Oak Island, Southport, Supply, Shallotte and Holden Beach. She is committed to supporting the local community, loving the opportunity to back small businesses and witness the town’s growth and joyful community events.

Katelyn’s unique approach to client service is centered on three core words: Communication, guidance, and relationships. She prides herself on ensuring clients fully understand each step of the transaction timeline. Her focus is on a smooth and successful experience, which involves excellent communication not only with the client but with all team members, from inspectors to lenders. Her most rewarding accomplishment is the deep relationships she forms, such as the one with a wonderful family she assisted for two years, ultimately getting them into their dream home in Holden Beach West.
